Bank Clients Start Dumping Their Accounts

More bank clients started dumping their accounts as they follow the nationwide "Move Your Money" and "Bank Transfer Day" crusades this Saturday.  Many consumers have already switched to a different account from a community bank or credit union as the nation’s biggest banks tried to put monthly charges on debit card usage.  No less than 650,000 consumers have joined credit unions starting Sept. 29 when Bank of America declared its plan of enforcing the debatable $5 debit card charge, based on a countrywide poll of credit unions by the Credit Union National Association.  This is over one year worth of clients in one month with credit unions tallying 600,000 members in all of 2010.
